When a contact is blacklisted, Kiliba excludes them from campaigns. The displayed reason identifies the source of that exclusion.
Reasons you can select
- Package adjustment: used to exclude contacts in order to align the active database with your subscription.
- Customer request: select this when a contact asks not to receive further communications.
- Other reason: lets you enter a custom reason.
Reasons generated by a rule or synchronisation
- Admin: exclusion applied by an administrative action.
- Outdated: the contact has been identified as outdated in the database.
- Blocked language: the contact is excluded because their language has been blocked in Kiliba.
- GDPR request in progress: a deletion or anonymisation request is being processed.
- Source Brevo or Source Mailchimp: status retrieved from the connected platform.
- Admin API: exclusion applied through the Kiliba API.
- Sales channel: the contact is excluded because a sales channel is blacklisted.
Before restoring a contact, check that the source of the blacklist has been corrected and that you are allowed to contact them. If the reason appears inconsistent, use the Submit a request form and include the contact identifier and displayed reason without attaching customer-data exports.
