Your Kiliba contract specifies the number of emails included in your plan and the rate charged for each email sent beyond that limit.
Overage is therefore not calculated from the number of contacts in your database or by dividing the subscription price by a contact limit.
How is the overage calculated?
(Number of emails sent − contractual email limit) × contractual overage rate
This calculation only applies when the number of emails sent exceeds the contractual limit, over the billing period defined in your contract.
Calculation example
The following values are only provided to illustrate the calculation. Check your contract for your actual limit and rate.
- Your contract includes 10,000 emails and specifies a rate of €0.02 excluding tax per additional email.
- You send 10,320 emails during the relevant period.
- The overage is 320 emails.
- The additional amount is therefore: 320 × €0.02 = €6.40 excluding tax.
Where can I find the applicable values?
Refer to your Kiliba contract for:
- the included email limit;
- the relevant billing period;
